ROOTED DEEP

Passage: Colossians 2:7

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
Colossians 2:7, NLT

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:7, KJV

TODAY’S WORD
Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery in Egypt, where his master’s wife falsely accused him of a crime and had him thrown into prison for thirteen years. He could have gotten bitter, but he realised that God was going to use it to increase him. Joseph kept growing, getting stronger, his roots going down deeper in faith. What seemed like wasted years was preparing him for the fullness of his destiny. Joseph went from the PIT to the PRISON and all the way to the PALACE. Perhaps you’ve had some bad breaks, you’re dealing with a sickness, or a dream died. But what may feel like a PIT is not THE END OF YOUR STORY, and the PRISON is not YOUR FINAL CHAPTER. Your destiny is the PALACE. God destined you to live a victorious life. If YOU & I stay in faith and KEEP DOING THE RIGHT THING, your time will come to be promoted, to be blessed, to be vindicated, and all the forces of darkness cannot stop you. God has the final say. He will get you to where you’re supposed to be.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
“FATHER, thank You that I can let my roots go deeper in my faith and build my life on Jesus. Thank You for Your overcoming love and that You’re making me a victor and not a victim of circumstances. I’m going to stay in peace knowing that no obstacle that stands in my way can stop Your plan. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
