TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
We went through fire and flood, but you brought us to a place of great abundance.

TODAY’S WORD
Psalm 66 is a beautiful psalm of invitation to come and see what God did when He brought the nation of Israel out of slavery in Egypt and into the abundance of the Promised Land. The psalmist is saying that you have to go through the fire, through the flood, to get to the abundance. On the other side of the fire, you’ll see promotion. On the other side of that closed door, you’ll see the next step up in your career. On the other side of that sickness, you’ll see greater favour and greater anointing. In those areas of your life where you’ve struggled for years, there’s going to be supernatural breakthrough; chains will be loosed. Don’t get stuck in the fire and complain, “Why did this happen? I don’t understand it. I was doing the right thing.” No, the right attitude is: “I may be in this fire, but I know it’s only temporary. This flood looks like a setback, but I know it’s a setup. Abundance is coming, healing is coming, favour is coming.”

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
“FATHER, thank You for Your promise to be with me through life’s fires and floods. I know that You’re here with me now, and I invite You into every challenging situation in my life. I believe and declare that You are bringing me through and into a place of great abundance. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
